»canada alternative« is an Internet-platform to promote Canadian independent alternative music. From punk to rock, country, jazz, and other genres, it is a place where music lovers can learn that there is always something interesting going on in the Canadian music scene. If you are a solo musician or in a band, and if you are interested in being a part of this, get in touch with us. This is a list of who is with us so far:

We have been involved in the underground/alternative scene for many years, and we asked ourselves: Why is there not a strong alternative presence in the Internet? We feel that there should be an alternative virtual world outside of MySpace, Last.fm, facebook. This could make the music scene stronger, but also the alternative scene in general. This is important. This project is not run by any corporation or company, it’s just us, Maggie Rapuano and Daniel Bastian / 28203 Bremen, Germany.
